Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using BrandFocus Voice Coach ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Voice Coach is an AI-powered communication coaching platform that analyses your speaking patterns and provides real-time feedback. The Service includes:

• Real-time voice analysis (pace, filler words, volume, clarity).
• Session recording and playback (optional, user-controlled).
• Progress tracking and coaching insights.
• Scenario-based practice (demo calls, podcast prep, presentations).
• Free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Accounts and Age

• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for your account security.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Voice Coach.
• One person per account.

4. Microphone Access and Audio Consent

Voice Coach requires microphone access to function. By starting a coaching session, you consent to:

• Real-time audio capture and analysis for the session duration.
• Speech-to-text transcription for feedback generation.

You may revoke microphone access at any time through your browser. Audio is not recorded permanently unless you choose to save the session. See our Privacy Policy for complete audio data handling details.

5. AI-Generated Feedback Disclaimer

All coaching feedback is generated by artificial intelligence. Voice Coach is not:

• A substitute for professional speech therapy or medical advice.
• A certified coaching or therapeutic service.
• Guaranteed to improve your speaking ability or professional outcomes.

If you have a speech disorder or medical condition affecting your voice, consult a qualified speech-language pathologist.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all audio recordings, transcripts, and other content you create. By using the Service, you grant BrandFocus a limited licence to process your content solely to provide coaching feedback.

We do not use your voice data to train AI models.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

• Free tier — limited sessions per month. No payment required.
• Pro tier — unlimited sessions, saved recordings, advanced analytics. Billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• Cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at billing period end.
• 7-day refund window if fewer than 3 sessions used.
• Pricing changes with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers grandfathered until renewal.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Record other people without their knowledge or consent.
• Use the Service to analyse audio of minors (under 18).
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the AI models.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls.
• Use the Service for surveillance, law enforcement, or any purpose other than personal communication improvement.

9. Intellectual Property

BrandFocus owns all rights to the platform, UI, branding, and coaching algorithms. AI-generated feedback is licensed for your personal use only.

10. Limitation of Liability

BrandFocus's total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Audio data is deleted within 30 days of account closure.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes resolved through binding arbitration under the Romanian Chamber of Commerce rules, except where prohibited by consumer protection law.
